Is DOS-BOX Malware free?
« on: September 10, 2009, 02:44:40 AM »
Is the Freeware DOS-Box completely Virus free? I did scan the Installer but that doesn't really mean much. I've been hearing about Freeware having malware in them not because of the programmers but because the Installation freeware puts one in it. I've google'd the subject and so far it hasn't came up with anyone claming to it be a infected file

Edit: its reconmmeded by 3 game studios but if anyone can do one of those fancy online scans that use more than 1 AV that'll be great.

If it is less than 10MB then upload it to VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner.

This is off topic but I thought the maximum file size allowed on virustotal is 20mb?
It is not possible to divide anything by zero

It's a known and trustworthy program, very popular in the classic gaming scene(it is a DOS emulator) and it's clean for sure.
