Uh ho... Shouldn't Have Done That
« on: September 12, 2009, 07:29:24 PM »
HELP! You know the system files that avast! automatically puts in ur chest in case they become infected? Well.... i accordantly deleted them, and i have no clue what they were called in the first place! How do i tell avast! to put the files back in there after i have deleted them, instead of manually doing it myself? If this situation doesnt make sense for some reason just reply and i'll clarify

I won't worry... In seven years, I have not even heard that anyone uses that backup files...
Seems that they won't be there on avast5 (according to the GUI) (although, the help files say they will).
Which is your operational system?

Reboot and I believe avast will replace the deleted ones without you having to do anything.

  • If at first you don’t succeed; call it version 1.0

And if not, get Avast to "generate VRDB now", from the right click menu on the system tray.
Windows 10,Windows Firewall,Firefox w/Adblock.
