Hi ratt33,

With a name like that it sounds like malware. Why not make sure what it is by uploading the file to www.virustotal.com for analysis.
Can you add a log txt file from a hjt scan to your reply posting, download  from here:

As polonus said, try to submit it or scan it with Malwarebytes at http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=buttonor Super Anti Spyware athttp://superantispyware.com/downloadfile.html?productid=SUPERANTISPYWAREFREE, and also do a complete scan on your pc with both of them, to be sure. Take care.

Why, can't you scan or delete (see note below), what errors are displayed ?

Note: Deletion isn't really a good first option (you have none left), 'first do no harm' don't delete, send virus to the chest and investigate.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.4.6112 (build 24.4.9067.762) UI 1.0.803/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Perhaps a google search would help. Here's one done through ScanDoo :

http://g.s.scandoo.com/search?hl=en&meta=on&q=%26%23376%3B9%26%23376%3B9

Maybe this one :

http://www.aboutus.org/Y9y9.com

Or, maybe it is this one :

http://www.last.fm/user/y9y9

And it could be any of the other results.

Is there a file extention?

Just found the same crap in my documents.  I just had to defeat some adware today as it slipped past AVG, Ad-Aware, and Spybot S&D.  Had "Call Dale.exe" & "mail bags.exe".  Must be very new crapola.

Just as windows begins to load, (before Windows with moving color bar) press F8, choose safe mode and boot on up.
Open explorer, go to your documents, probably thru documents and settings folder.  Click once on file, the hold down SHIFT and press delete key.  It will be gone forever.  I just did this 15 minutes ago, all is working well.

Also click start, run, type in MSCONFIG, press enter.  Look for strange entries.  mail bags was in folder "funk up system" or
something like that, stashed under the "application data" folder.

I started getting popup windows, that is what made me start searching.  My system has been free of popups for over 2 years.

Good luck.

Just wanted to say enormous "thankyou" to mot for your help here.
The safe mode delete worked perfectly.
