Do you need to turn off your PC at night?
By Monte Enbysk

For many years now, I’ve been shutting off my computer at night. But I’m now convinced you can leave your computer on at night and still conserve as much energy.

My All-In-One Brother copier/printer/scanner takes quite a bit of power even powered off.

MySharedFiles is available 24/7. That being said explains why my system which runs that service only turns off
when it's required for system updates and maintenance. The monitor is usually not turned on since it's not needed to run the service.
The printer however is a different story. It's only turned on as needed.
