Starting a boot scan
« on: September 30, 2009, 07:59:20 PM »
Hello,
i have a small, but annoying problem here. Today i've been trying to run the scan during boot, but it is grayed out and i can't click it.
I remember running it on the same computer like a half year ago or something like that.
Can you tell me if i'm doing something wrong, or is it no more possible to run a bootscan?

I'm running a Win Vista 64bit PC, c2d e8500, 4gb ram ddr2.

Most probably, it will be available later in 2010.

Whilst this function isn't available now, it will be introduced later in the new version of avast 5. It won't be in version 5.0, but it is hoped to be in version 5.1.
