Just as I thought no dice.

Avast apparently sees the Mac underneath the linux.

YDL is the version of linux that Runs on Macintosh computers. I turned an old G3 450Mhz desktop mac into a YDL server for my home network and wanted avast on it.

What versions of Linux is avast tested under?

'big' avast works on processors compatible with Intel x86, to some extent on 64bit compatibles. No way to run on G4 or so.
