Avast + the bat

Why Avast don't want to secure my mail? I'm usin the bat client  :(

Please, use The Bat! plugin. This plugin is not installed in default installation, so go to Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/avast! Antivirus/Change a add Bat! plugin. Plugin is configurable directly from Bat!.

Installed The Bat, nice email program.

How can i see if Avast i cheking it?

You can send yourself the EICAR test file (www.eicar.org).
