Hi! I am trying to install windows xp sp3 on a pc with a pre installed vista. I have 2 partitions, 1 contains windows vista(C:) and 1 is blank(D:). I run the windows xp setup on boot but I always end up with a BSoD about my hard disk. I even tried shrinking D:.

Hi Yachiru,

Problems with the boot device. The installer won't run, critical stop error, see here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324103
You first have to fully uninstall the one to be able to install the other(s).

Solution for the STOP 0x0000007B error notification when you have more than one SATA controller in  AHCI or Raid mode:
Load drivers (pressing F6 at start Windows setup) for all controllers (two drives two raid drivers), even if for a controller where there are no disks connected,

okay now I have a new problem about XP. Last night I can run windows xp, this morning I got a new problem about NTLDR. I already tried using EasyBCD on windows vista.

You need to copy the ntldr file from your Vista root partition to your XP root partition, that should do it.
