There is sneaky tracking code that can be implemented on multitude sites at once, and was detected by ghostery extension in Firefox:

How to keep this at bay with NoScript/abe in Firefox read this:

This may have opened another "can of worms", as I have found the same (or very similar) code on other sites, authors of which are less than obvious with concealing the "Omniture" script.
