Well I guess that is no different to avast or MBAM, in being able to restore the file, but what that doesn't do it to stop it from being detected in future scans and be placed right back in jail.

So unless there is an exclusion function (and reporting FPs) you are right back to square one.

Hi DavidR,

Bugs etc. can be reported.
This is in the cloud protection, it convicts and quarantine only what is downloaded onto your computer,
after you restored it it is allowed. As I see it work the in the cloud scanner is for all that comes into your computer "in the cloud" from the Internet. The other things can be regulated with the scanning settings. This is also the fact that it cannot be run as a stand-alone and needs some resident av-software next to it to give ample protection. If it worked like you assumed no one could use it practically. This would mean very user-unfriendly behaviour and I would uninstall it also, you can also exit the protection and re-enable it on demand. I think it is rather flexible,

is this a replacement for threatfire? or a good addition to use it with tf and your current AV and / or software firewall?

Hi DarkLegend,

Immunet Protect and ThreatFire can be used together, no problem, in a way they are complementary.
Immunet Protect will scan system files and executables that are actually running on the machine while the user is online and evaluate everything the user is trying to download for being non-malcoded. It is specifically directed at preventing malicious downloads like Fake AV, ransomware etc. another aspect is that the users' database is bundled "in the cloud" this is closing the vulnerability gap further. Did not experience any reverse effects from downloading and running it and will report here,

Some partners that work well together in Windows 7 :)

ok thanks, I'll install it and test it for a while and see what it does =). Also, Has anyone actually seen this thing in action? I have seen many a posts questioning how a new program can be protecting them against 4 + mil viruses already. I really hope this isn't just a program sitting in the background saying it's doing something but in reality it is not.

Haven't really read this thread the way i should have but i just wanna ask(especially Damian) about this Immunet thingie a) does it actually work, i mean does it actually increase my security at all as i am having a hard time believing this actually does anything so usefull that would warrant an install on my system b) any slowdowns ?(you know i game alot) and most important of all c) how stable is this program(anyone using it on 64 bit win) ?

Hi Miha,

Yep, I think so as it scans everything that lands on your machine even temporals from your MBAM downloads,  so for SAS download it gives a message for instance UIREPAIR.DLL with a green tag at a SAS update. I am just testing this in the cloud additional av. The scan you perform inside the program scans all your system files and all that runs there actually like all that is open in TaskManager for instance, slow-downs nothing of the sort...

Have you tried testing it against anything ? That's what i want to know, is it effective, does it catch anything. YoKenny also said it kept crashing on him but that was on a 32 bit system, i'm more interested in the 64 bit version but if the 32 bit one is unstable i don't think the 64 bit one would be any better. I think i'll stay away from this one for now and let you guys test it properly first. If you still give it a green light after a month or so using and testing it i'll give it a go then probably.

I have been testing it for several days and there has not been even one problem with Immunet and no slowdown of my 5 year old computer. It's scans are also very quick.

Hi Mikey,
1. Comodo Verification Engine for IE
4. ThreatFire
Hope that answers your question. :)

Hi bob3160.

Today my Immunet Protect said Oct 21st 133 clean programs installed.....
that means all that was installed updates, programs, temporal files; all went through Immunet Protect.
It is recognized specifically by ThreatFire, as people install ThreatFire it gives a message that one also runs Immunet Protect, so they actually work in full cooperation,
