Issues Installing...neither download is working?

Hello.  I just got a new computer, it has Windows Vista on it.  I had McAfee on here and I uninstalled it, using the regular automatic McAfee uninstaller.  When I try and install Avast, I keep on getting the same error message.  I have downloaded both from CNet AND from the Avast site, and continue to get the same problem.  Here is the log.

The installer you got from the Avast site, what size was it?
The full installer is 36.99 Mb (for the English one), and a direct download link is here.
Always a good idea to download the installer file (full) for a new AV before uninstalling the old one, then you can disconnect from the web for the time no AV is installed. (Same rule applies for a firewall.)

McAfee also has an uninstall tool, which I recommend running before installing Avast. It can be found here.
