Help Unblock a previously blocked file??

I have locked a file cause I didn't reconise it.. Now I need it and I need to know how to unblock and find the file???

What do you mean by locked a file, avast doesn't have a permanent lock on a file.

So what was the file name and location ?

Was this because of an avast alert, if so what type of alert ?
