Avast Server Installation on Small Business Server 2003
« on: October 21, 2009, 11:56:10 PM »
Hello,

I had to remove my current avast installation.
I used the aswclear utility to uninstall the avast server installation
This machine is currently running ADSM as well.

I rebooted the installation and attempted to run the installation.

The log entries seem to indicate that the user privileges are a problem.
However I am installing as administrator and have checked file permissions.

Could I be a victim of Microsoft Data Exectution Prevention? (DEP)
I dont want to disable this if at all possible.

Any Ideas?
Thanks

Zach
