yahoo email with ie and avast

how to I get avast to scan incoming emails for virus?....I use verizon BB ...now it show it is being scanned by norton anvi-virus even though norton should be deleted.....will avast scan incoming even thought norton is showing....how do I know???....thanks for any help...as you can tell Im a intermediate user at best..

Hi MrGdub28901,

 From what I know, Yahoo! uses Norton Antivirus as it's default scanner. avast! wont be conflicting with it since the file is scanned separately, on your computer (avast!) and in Yahoo!'s server (Norton). If I made a mistake, please forgive my feeble mind.

thanks....hope you are right, dont seem to be causing any problems...I guess as long as something is scanning for viruses its okay
