Does avast give you answer when you sent the file for analysis.

No I don't think so. Unless there is something especially significant to tell you concerning your file. Or questions to ask concerning the file.

Your file submission process does play a part in the updates of the antivirus database but I'm not sure what  and when anything happens after you have sent the file through. I don't think you receive notification unless something particularly significant with the file. But others on the forum may know more about this.

Generally not.
They only get in contact if they need further info.
There isn't an automatic answer machine either. (Not that I want one...).
