are limited accounts protected?
« on: June 09, 2004, 01:43:28 AM »
using xp home edition.  avast icon shows up on my administrator account but not on the four limited accounts my wife & kids use.  also, when logging onto a limited account, an avast dialog box shows up saying the key has not been entered... of course it won't let me enter a key on a limited account, so i tried temporarily changing it to an administrator account and entering the key and got an "invalid" message.  are these limited accounts actually protected even though the icon doesn't show up in the tray?

thanx!

I'm completely sure that correct avast! installations protects not only the adminstrator account but all the limited ones...  8)

But, take a look on the User FAQ link bellow in my signature.
You'll see an entry called Troubleshooting with License key on another profile.

Hope that help  ;)
