« on: November 02, 2009, 09:45:20 PM »
Dear avast lovers,
I have just one question. I know that it has been asked several times now, but I just eager to know. When will avast 5.0 final be released. I am very, very impatient to try it.
Thanks anyway.

He has as much idea of what day it will be released as you do. It was stated second half of November I believe, which could be as late as the 30th Nov 2009 or as early as the 15th.

Me I couldn't care less when it is released (4.8 is doing a fine job in the meantime), as long as it is only released when it is ready, no sooner.

Worrying about the release date won't make it any quicker, one day you get a pleasant surprise rather than a disappointment that the possible date hasn't occurred.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.762) UI 1.0.801/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

I think you just may be correct. In fact it seems that worrying about it makes it slower. I wonder why??
