windows essentials and Avast!

are they compatible? the essentials has a warning about using other anti-virus. I currently have Avast! and malwarebytes. should I use the essentials?
HP compaq pressario with a intel pentium dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80 GHz
Memory (RAM): 2.49 GB
System type 32-bit OS
288GB HD with about 88GB unused
Windows Vista Home Premium

Why would you use MSE if you've got 2 very good antivirus/antimalware by ur side?
well, Vlk said that it's not recommended to use MSE together with avast..
