Upgrade help

Ok...just need a little advice. Computer challenged here.

 I upgrated to Pro from home edition. After installation download I choose to update (I am thinking that this is for home to Pro).  Screen said  finished and but no  prompt to reboot and I only have home and no new Pro. Cannot find link for Pro.

Should I uninstall Home ver prior to downloading my Pro version?  I have the new key and number.

With a little help I might get this.

Hi Barbara, Welcome to the forum

You can just enter the pro license key into the about avast! interface and the pro features will be unlocked.

You shouldn't actually have to download the full program. If you have received your email with the pro license key, you can enter that key in the same location you did for the Home version. Provided you are on-line it should convert the Home version to the Pro version.

Right click avast! tray icon --> click 'about avast! --> click 'license key...' --> copy and paste the key from the email into the box.
