Problem with registration
« on: December 21, 2009, 09:11:58 AM »
I installed avast! 4.8 Home Edition using the Administrator account on my Windows XP Computer. I already have my registration key and have successfully registered (using the Admin account). But when I use the other accounts (I have three accounts in my computer) I get the "You have entered an invalid registration key" error, and asked to input the registration key again. I entered it multiple times but it still displays the same error. avast! still works on the Admin account. What should I do so that it would also work on other accounts?

Yeah... this is a known problem. avast does not work well in a multi-admin account environment.
But, after all, this is not good is anyway. Better would be having just one admin account and the others be just common users (not privileged).
Unfortunately, I don't know another easy solution for that. In some systems, with multi-admin accounts, avast works ::)
