Avast not installing

I keep getting this when i try to install avast
the laptop had norton on it before i got rid of it with the norton
removal tool.

Anyone out there who can help with this issue?

Try running norton removal tool again reboot and use crap cleaner and scan the registry and try and run avast free full installer around 35mb size from avast website. Did you have any other antivirus on before norton was installed, also check your computer for spyware as this can prevent avast from installing. Use spybot search and destroy & Malwarebytes free antispyware programs.

Are you logged on an administrator account on vista if you are on a limited account you cannot have full access to the op system!

1) Remove NAV or Norton 360 through Add/Remove programs from Control Panel. Boot.
2) Use Norton Removal Tool for Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Norton Removal Tool for Windows 98/Me. Boot.
3) Install avast! (or repair the installation) and boot.

The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products and Norton 360 from your computer.
