 I uninstalled Avast to try Panda Cloud. Panda claimed avinstall was infected so I quarintined it. I got rid of Panda and retained the avinstall file. I reinstalled Avast and  it won't start. Its in the system tray, I can adjust setting but nothing works. I tried to uninstall it again using Add/Remove, nothing. Tried CCleaner to uninstall it, nothing. I tried to install it over itself and got a RPC error. It won't work and I can't get it off my computer. Windows XP Home.

Never mind, I came across the Avast Uninstaller and got rid of it, finally. I also noticed that after I uninstalled it the first time, my computer was much faster. Thanks but no thanks, I'm trying AVG.
