Greyed out "Schedule Boot Time Scan..." menu option
« on: November 29, 2009, 11:12:23 PM »
I have Vista Home Premium 64-bit version, with latest Avast builds and VBS. I am trying to schedule a boot time scan from an account with admin privs. but the menu option is greyed out/disabled. I've repaired Avast from the Control Panel. Any clues?

I'm afraid the boot-time scan is not available on 64bit operating systems at the moment.

Should this maybe be a sticky until fixed?
Lots of people getting Win7 64 bit at the moment.  And I've noticed, lots of questions regarding the lack of boot time scanning.

The answer is the same for all 64bit OS at the moment, also see the other topic you posted on.
