hi, i'm new of avast!
i want to tell you:

-is possible to see the log of the every virus blocked by avast during his work?
-is possible to see the "scanning log" after a scan of one single file, or the total system (like in NAV)?
-what does it mean when the blue "a" in the systray icon rotate?
-the e-mail scanning, includes both object and attachment or only the first one?

well, these are the more urgent question, maybe later i remember the others... ;-)

thanks a lot end excuse me for my bad english.
hallo, fs78.

hi, i'm new of avast!

Wellcome  8)

-is possible to see the log of the every virus blocked by avast during his work?

See the reports at \avast4\data\reports folder.
Or see Log viewer (right click the skin to see it)

-is possible to see the "scanning log" after a scan of one single file, or the total system (like in NAV)?

Choose the report settings before scanning. You can have a report for every scanning no matter how many files were scanned.

-what does it mean when the blue "a" in the systray icon rotate?

That one of the providers are working and scanning  ;)

-the e-mail scanning, includes both object and attachment or only the first one?

Both. See Internet Mail provider and Outlook/Express plugin configurations.

Hi Fs78,
I'm a new avast! user too
I don't think that avast! makes incoming mails slower (I don't notice any change since I use avast! mail scanner)
@+ :)
