Hopefully it well be fixed soon. Thankfully I saw the conflict before other programs got pinched. Can't get upset though. This is the only problem I have ever had with it and it has saved my computer many times.

Good afternoon everybody,

I confirm that my computer in Australia has the same problems.  It seems that Avast has 'discovered' a WIN32.DELF.MZG (Tri) Trojan virus in numerous programs on my computer.  I don't believe that this is an actual infestation.  I shall wait until the next update fixes this problem.  Meanwhile, I cannot really run my computer with Avast on, as it continues to find more instances of this virus.

From Brazil, I had the same problem...

I'm a Delphi Developer, and seems to be related with Delphi compiled programs.

Skype, Spybot, my programs, all false flaged.

But now, that's resolved. Tnx!

Re: AVAST still thinks files infected with Win32:Delf-MZG Trojan

I read that Avast has responded and issued a fix for the problem. we are advised to update iAVS to  091203-1. Then update the program itself, from version: 4.8.1356, to the updated version: 4.8.1368. Restart your computer.
This has done nothing - the boot scan tells me I have voer 106 files infected with either  Win32:Delf-MZG or Win32:Zbot-MK!

So still waiting for Avast to sort this out as update does not seem to have worked for me

Hi DavidR,
i send it to AVAST so all we can do is wait.

Add it to the exclusions lists:
Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced, Add and
Program Settings, Exclusions (right click the avast ' a ' icon) Restore it to its original location, periodically check it (scan it in the chest), there should still be a copy in the chest even though you restored it to the original location. When it is no longer detected then you can also remove it from the Standard Shield and Program Settings, exclusions.

I too hope that the FP will be quickly resolved as they have in the past, Milos now confirms.
