Thank you for the phone number.  I will try to find out my options there.

I do have my contacts and email saved on an external hard drive, and other computers, so I wouldn't lose them if I had problems.  I also have contacts exported to my USB pen drive.  I have used the ehow.com site many times for directions.  It is a great site.
I have not had problems with Vista, so don't feel that urgency to install Windows 7.  I usually wait until at least one SP is released before using a new OS, and am thinking of doing that with Windows 7.  Maybe Microsoft will have made things easier by then.

You are missing out on Windows 7's performance improvements and new features.

Judging how long it took for Microsoft to release the first Service Pack for XP you could be waiting a couple of years and it even took Microsoft at least a year for SP2.
