Oh, I didn't know that.  I almost imagined you were too accustomed to building PCs to know even the existence of recovery disks...  ;D

He He, I have never had a system that has come with a recovery disk, but I do know about them and the different approaches of different companies.

I have always insisted on a Genuine Windows CD, even if OEM when I buy a system and the OS together. Obviously if I build it I would be buying the OS CD, OEM or Retail.
