Systematic crash in 4.1.416
« on: June 13, 2004, 11:57:22 PM »
I have just updated and rebooted with avast HE 4.1.416

Now when i execute avast and try to display the settings (on-demand) the ashSimpl.exe crashes all the time. No settings could be displayed. My avast worked fine until the last update...

Windows 2000 PRO (french) - SP4 + patches
nforce 2 motherboard (IGP)
AMD 1800+, 512 MB, 160 GB + 40 GB

That's what I said in the beta thread...

http://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=5140;start=msg37965#msg37965

The worst thing is that I don't have necessary tools to fix it right now.... :(
Shoot.

4.1.418 is the answer. Sorry for the inconvenience (English version users won't even have to reboot when updating 416->418).
