« on: December 06, 2009, 04:32:44 PM »
Anyone else seeing this occur during the course of the day The iptray.exe starts out at about 1,258kb and if you start using the gui just launching it then closing the kb start climbing in that exe file. jump around with the few options on the GUI and close it check the iptray.exe it uses more memory end of the day its using somewhere in the vicinity of 38,400kb- 46,680kb and it does not back off and return to a lower usage. i am using XP service pack 3. It is a beta but it could be beta with that memory.

Hi pinnacle,

Something not right with your configuration then, here I run it for half a day, mem size 76 kB, VM-size 9.408 kB - but the mem size may vary on checking downloads etc. max 1.440 kB///
Look with Threatfire what that process does with System Acrivity Monitor...

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
