aNTI VIRUS

Hi I have just purchased Avasti 4.8 profess. I thought this covered virus's. But a baloon on the bottom of my screen keeps coming up saying Avasti anti virus out of date. I have done something wrong with download. I am new to Avasti so not sure on my way round the software yet.

Ensure that your system date is correct, day/month/year and adjust as required.

Check the about avast (right click the avast 'a' icon) and report the Program version (4.8.1368 is the latest) and VPS version (091208-0 is the latest)  ?

Check the latest version from http://www.avast.com/
and compare it with your version.
