Does avast 5 have VRDB?

If not are they going to use the normal repair/disinfection like other programs?
I think vrdb is a bit pointless now.

There is no VRDB function on version 5.0.

I have no idea what function will replace it.

Good question.
How would avast 5 clean a file? I.e., how "repair" function works?
