I noticed that the off-topic is closed so I decided to introduce myself here.

I am charles from NY and i recently just used Avast. great product so i decided to join here just so maybe i could learn more from here. :)

Welcome to the forum. A lot of helpful folk, a fair percentage very experienced, visit here on a regular basis. Great place to learn or ask for any help that might be needed.

Welcome to the avast Forums, Carlo!    ;D
You will find a LOT of help here regarding avast ... Malware ... and a myriad of Non-avast Tech topics.

For example, I now use SUPERAnti-Spyware, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, IrfanView and IZArc because of suggestions from the Members of these avast Forums.  And I've received many other useful Tips here.
