VIRUS CHECK DATES

Whenever I do a scan the date of the last scan shown does not change, it seems to be stuck on 04/03/04. Can anyone please help me,Dojo

imho the date changes only after you completely run a full system/harddisk scan.. not if you scan only individual folders..

is you avast uptodate (program & VPS) ?

Hi thanks for replying, yes the software is up to date and I always do a complete scan but it still does not alter the last checked date, Dojo

Hi,

Maybe a communication gap here -- just want to check whether you and whocares are actually asking and answering the same question.

At one time -- and it's likely still the case, since I've never seen "official" word that it was changed -- avast would only change the "last-scan" date when you scanned using "local drives".  Using "folders", even if you select the entire drive that way, won't update the last-scan info.
