Help! Win32:Trojan-gen (UPX!)

  Please help!! While scanning with Norton I found a Trojan-gen virus. It was unable to delete so I turned to the net. I downloaded a trial of Avast. Upon scanning it has found the following:
infected memory

c:\documents and settings\owner\application data\ootr.exe

Win32: Trojan-gen (UPX!)

I am guessing that because I didn't buy the program I am unable to do a scheduled boot. I continued with the process and it found more probelms of which I deleted. Upon completation I ran it again to make sure it was gone, the above was still there. I am running it again to make sure the others are gone.

I am running XP 2000 on my laptop. Probelm is I am at work and can't connect to the net for fear it will get it the network.

Please help me get rid of this!! Please speak english......lol I mean maybe more like step by step help!

please scan the file online with Trend & KAV (see below; deactivate Norton & avast's AV-Shields/monitors for this) and report results

after googling, this seems like Ad-Spyware;
-> install, update, scan & fix with
SPYBOT & Ad-Aware: www.lurkhere.com & www.lavasoft.de

Also please enter
  Trojan-Gen
into the board-seach above..
