Hi harman123,
It is a PUP, and if not willingly installed as a BHO by an administrator or yourself it is definitely unwanted.

Can be easily removed using this tool:  Toolbarcop: http://windowsxp.mvps.org

Did you upload it to avast for detection.

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

Hi.That product is not malware or pup. It is just a download manager with some ads that pops every time you open it(Don't know if that counts as PUP)
It is not possible to divide anything by zero

Hi mathboyx,

PUP means a possible unwanted program, if the ads are all in chinese, and if you did not install this program deliberately it is considered a PUP by McAfee standars, some av vendors have stricter views as what is a PUP. For firmware av and fw everything that is not explicately installed by an admin is considered PUP for instance by the McAfee firewall and one have to include it to run it, DrWeb once flagged a animated gif joke pop-up (it showed a message that all of the harddisk was slowly being formatted) as PUP malware, because it could give the unaware ignorant user an apparent heart-attack  ;D - so there is quite some grey area between malcode and trusted code,
