Hi,
I did have a look for previous posts on this, couldn't find anything useful.
Are Avast/forum maintenance aware that time given for UK in the forums is wrong? The time is 1 hour behind, e.g. currently the time is 2.22pm (GMT) whereas the forum states 1.22pm.
Can anyone comment on this, please?

Thanks.

That is the default current forum time.

You will have to change it in the settings, but since you don't have 20 posts, you will not be able to yet. (an antispam feature of the forum.)

Er...thanks - what kind of oddball antispam feature is that? Can't imagine what that achieves except confusion for all newcomers?

Most people don't notice the time...it is a slight mishap...

The antispam feature is to prevent people spamming the forum with ad links in signatures and using the PM function of the forum.
Unfortunately it has some other negative effects for genuine users...

Garrog, you should have been around when the spammers were trying to cause confusion.
