NOTIFICATION
« on: December 27, 2009, 10:40:30 AM »
Hello all,I need to know how to set this Forum up to Email me when I get a reply.

Is it possible?

Ive joined a similar Forum on PC beginners which sends a Email to let you know.

Thanks in advance folks.

When you have 20+ posts, you will be able to access and modify more of your profile settings.
In the meantime, just click the "notify" button near the top right of any thread.

Welcome softoprascal

You will become tired of email notifications very quickly.

I prefer to use Show unread posts since last visit. and for my posts Show new replies to your posts.

How about asking if it's worth checking your software is up to date?

To start with, that is I believe the default forum setting, you get email notification for topics which you create or contribute to. So you shouldn't have to change your profile settings.

As Tarq57 mentioned there is also the Notify buttons on the page of each topic.

If you still aren't getting emails than it is possible that your ISP or your anti-spam are blocking them. I believe that all emails from the forum come from the asw.cz (Alwil SoftWare, Czech Republic) so ensure that domain isn't blocked.
