Hi Shiw...

Cool, did you give them the same serial number you gave us? They will probably respond with a question like my mine (in my initial post about the model name and number) if you just told them you have a Samsung with Windows XP Professional. ;D

God bless :)

Hi Shiw...

I would write back to Samsung and give them your laptop's model name and number and serial number and ask them again for a restore CD for it. :)

God bless :)

I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean. If you meant how do you get the the restore CD from Samsung, simply write (or call) back to Samsung with the model name and number and serial number of your laptop and ask for a restore CD for it. When they reply, they will tell you whether or not if they have one. If they do, they will tell you how much it costs and, hopefully, confirm that it contains Windows XP Professional or Home. If not, perhaps Microsoft can help you by issuing you a new key. You would need to call them to find out if that's possible with the copy you installed from. This and the other options are listed in the PM I sent you. :)

God bless :)

Hi everyone :)
I formated my laptop and now I've got 30 days trial and that my stupid licence key not working anymore,my laptop don't have the sound driver and the LAN driver installed by itself can someone help me to get that?
My laptop is Samsung and using the operating system Xp Pro.

Any suggestions is welcomed ;D

If you are running 30 days trial then no problem to reformat and re-install at any time. So you have some latitude to try few different things to get to know your laptop better.

Seems like you have bypassed option to restore to factory settings (if option was there), so you have needed carry out your own install. I presume that device manager shows drivers are needed for sound and for LAN.

You can use speccy (as above), Belarc, etc...to bring up the specs of devices you have on board and then go to manufacturer and search for required device and its driver - or go to driversguide or driverscollection.com and use selections steps to find a driver that works.

Your Samsung - a search for A3LSP10 indicates maybe a motherboard that is also found in the (Micron) MPC TransPort T2000 (though very little info is returned - what would help immensely is the model of your Samsung, which should be prominent on the front of laptop, perhaps V something or other). Then again, the MPC and the Samsung models may have only used some of same components (hopefully the motherboard). Samsung may have been manufactuer of most of the MPC laptops over period of time. So perhaps T2000 or another MPC model is same as yours.

Here are some leads to follow up to see if a same model was rebranded.

T2000 -  http://www.mpcdrivers.com/apps/syshubed85.html?ID=201

Drivers - http://www.mpcdrivers.com/apps/filelistcbbe.html?ID=7381
There is different drivers for the 14.1" screen model and the 15" screen model.

Manuals - http://www.mpcdrivers.com/apps/manualhubff2c.html?ID=201&Categ=191

Also a chipset driver is available for motherboard. But for time being, reply post as to how you're doing. Do the two models match up?
