@1) correct, deleting wasn't a good idea..
"scanning impossible" usually means that the file is a encrypted (= harmless) or in use (=Locked by WIN): -> avast tells you which is the case in its report.
Both DON'T necessarily mean that there's a virus in it..so you shouldn't normally be worried..
even when there's virus/trojan alert:
if you don't know what you're doing, it's best to just block access or move it to chest (if it can't be repaired!!); then get some info on it
@2) either copy the file to it's original location (see avast's report/logs on this info)
or download&reinstall mediaplayer from MS-website..
