A helpful tip for users of the Sonic Record Now CD Burning Software.
There is a known program bug with Sonic Record Now! where after you burn a disk and close the program upon completion of the task, you need to use Windows Task Manager to End Task the program completely or you won't be able to open the program again once you close Record Now if you want to burn another disk.
Relating to this, Avast may not start shortly after you have used Sonic Record Now after closing out of Record Now. You should either use the Task Manager to find Record Now. Than end the task, say yes to the warning about terminating the program. When Record Now closes from the Task Manager, Avast should open. Additionally, you can use Avast's repair diagnostic in Add/Remove Programs. Once you get Sonic Record Now out of the Task Manager, Avast should work.
