need to get avast removed from my cpu. Why is it so hard to do. why not have a phone number for your customers.   peppersg@att.net

If Avast won't uninstall the normal way try the uninstall utility.

Just for information ...

avast nor any other program can not be removed from your CPU since it is not installed in the CPU which  stands for Central Processing Unit. It is what makes the computer work. It is mounted on the motherboard inside the computer.

Programs are installed/stored on the Hard Drive of your computer and that is from where they must be removed. The Hard Drive is not installed on the motherboard but is installed in a drive bay.
