lansetm.exe

Hi!

New to the forum, long time Avast! user.

Similar to some other threads, Avast! detected lansetm.exe under windows\options\cabs. I've uploaded the file to jotti and Virustotal and the only programs that seem to find malware are Avast! and GData.

I'm pretty sure this is a false positive, what do you think?

EDIT: links to the scans

EDIT2: just ran SAS and Malwarebytes, none of them detected anything (even though I did not quarantine the file with avast!)

Thank you, I'll follow the instructions and send the file to avast.

But more than that, I was wondering if this was a known issue, since so many threads have been created recently regarding that specific file being detected. Especially since I run daily scans with Avast! and have not changed anything on the computer in the recent days (except an update from windows), I'm assuming the file popped up as a virus due to an Avast definitions update.

Update: I guess it was a false positive, since the last update Avast! doesn't detect it as malware anymore.
