liscencing woes

recently purchased avast 5 and had some licencing troubles

The downloaded license shows up as licence.dat

in order to try and insert it I changed it to liscence.avastlic, despite my efforts i still cant register my version of avast, any ideas?

I think you should just click the license file and it will insert

register/license is on page 7-8 for avast pro and IS and on page 8 for free

the problem is, avast doesnt recognized the given file license.dat and i have no clue where to get the legit license from, what i was given doesnt work
