Hi there and welcome,

I think it's better to ask this in an apple forum for example.
Or have you any problem with an avast! product and itunes/windows 7?

OK cosmeglenn, I understand! ;)
Don't know if anybody can help you here, but I wish you good luck.

I don't use iTunes, I use CopyTrans Manager, a very little Programm (.exe) that you put on your iPod.
Then you can start it from there at EVERY!!! PC.
These PCs don't need an iTunes-installation.

Very simple and very small. In my opinion iTunes is "bloatware".
I hope you know what I mean.

Try CopyTrans Manager and be lucky!!! :D

Bye bye, Sky

Hi cosmeglenn,

Most people use iTunes 10.+ because of the recent security updates (see the Avast Smart Phones thread http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=65103.0 under the General Topics area for more information and do a Search in this forum).

I would also suggest that you contact Apple Tech. support directly: http://www.apple.com/support/contact/.  They are quick to respond and very helpful.  I hope this helps.  Thank you.

Hello, I have itunes version 10.0.68 working ok on windows 7, you don't say what stops itunes working on your computer so I would hazard a guess and say something with a previous install is corrupt or otherwise damaged, here is the official method of un-installing Itunes from windows 7 :

You may also be interested in slimming down itunes to remove any bloat you don't need, a good guide and how-to is here:

I have a slim install on a computer and itunes works just fine :-)
