I Have a suggestion

what do you think of this?

in the current status shows this information:
► Real time shields
► definitions auto updates
► virus definition version
► program version
► expiration date

What do you think add:
► "Complete system Scan" information too
Like version 4.8 that showed you how many days passed from the last complete scan

It's only a suggestion, What do you think of it?  ;)

For some reason i hate when antiviruses do that. Well, if the information is just raw info i'm fine with it.
But if antivirus starts to display red X, if the full scan hasn't been done for 1 month, that pisses me off (because i only make one full scan when i install avast! 5 and never again).
For example. AVIRA dooes that and i don't like it. Kaspersky was also doing this.

I like the way it is now in Scan Logs so I can go see it if I want to.

I only do a Full System Scan when I update the anti virus application which does not happen very often.

I don't think it is a usable feature, but if some user feel need it (not me obviously) it may come in addition as optional feature (not default).

The idea is to keep the menus structure relatively short and clutter free (or those like me who like to reduce the UI window as small as possible couldn't achieve that). I as the only use can remember what I scanned and when

Since this is in the Scan Computer section, info on your last scans (where I feel it belongs) and you can create log files for the scans also, I too feel it isn't something that I would want. Not as strong as hate, but I wouldn't like it because it is replicating information.

If I can I almost never do a scan and normally let the job to my avast shields and also to my other softwares :)
