I'm not sure but browsing their site I cannot found any...
I think there isn't a free personal use version  :'(

Sasha the main difference between Pest patrol and the other programs you mentioned is this:
Pest patrol: once you select delete, kiss the files bye bye.
Other programs: last delete operation is always reversable.

So, Pest patrol requires extra precautions.

I always do a restore point prior to any serious system changes.

watchthisspace,

No free versions of Pest Patrol as far as I have ever seen here in the U.S. Generally costs $39.95 USD for 1 year of coverage then you have to renew it again at the end of that 1 year.

I don't think you really need it.
If you got free ad-aware, spybot, spywareblaster, spywareguard, avast, free firewall... and your surf habits are clean, well, let's live. After all, we all need to format and start all over again in life sometimes  ;D

Well, not exactly true.. I can still show you sites that will totally infect your system, even using the above.  Adaware and Spybot are just too lightduty for me. Spysweeper and Pest Patrol are have far deeper detection levels.  SpywareGuard and Spywareblaster are nice, but do little to protection you from some IE holes  :(

I ran a little test before I left town on a disk containing 528 trojans or malicious spyware, and the results were quite interesting...  Pest Patrol clearly considers Trojans spyware and otherwise malicious adwares and junk, and considering it has about 125,000 definitions its no wonder.  So the line is blurry with that product, but I respect its detection levels nonetheless, and it makes a very incredible backup to an AV product.  Spysweeper is strong as well, and has often found things PP has missed.  I used to be a believer of the Spybot/Adaware combo, then one night I installed the Spysweeper demo on my machine, and it found 198 traces that combo missed.. LMAO.

Hehe, but I don't drink... I really don't drink. I have never tasted any kind of alcohol in my whole life and that's the only truth. When I said liquid food, I meant on semolina, puddings, jello and stuff like that, hehe... I was just like baby... whatever I asked my wife, she would jump right away and make that for me... she was so kind, that I decided to give her present...  ;D  ;D  ;D   Well, I was kinda sick, you know... root canals are not for joking  ;D
