« on: February 01, 2010, 07:41:31 AM »
Last night i have been casually on demand quick scanning of my computer with suparantispywer. But surprisingly SAS was found 9 virus and quarantine them.but it is fact that avast .396(free) was continuously running with all shield. Now i am thinking that how it is possible while the antivirus was running.

hey and welcome to the forum. no antivirus program has 100% detection rate, so you should complete it with programs like superantispyware that you using or/and malwarebytes antimalware to get those malware that the antivirus misses.

http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

so avast is doing what it should do on your computer.

hopes this is a good answer on your question.

be safe and welcome again to the forum.

I want you to inform that avast AV is for Virus Removing only and they doesn't able to repair your registry entry that's why u need an MBAM and the SAS because they can able to fix your registry, registry is the main part of your Operating System (O.S).
