Avast Script Blocking appears all the time after opening a folder or a web page

Hello friends,

I need help. I have Avast 4.8 Pro installed in my network. All the computers are OK, except an HP notebook running Win XP Pro.

The Avast Script blocking screen appears many times while opening a folder in Explorer or while opening Internet Explorer 8. With IE 7 and 6 this occurred too, but with IE 8 the problem has increased.

I notice that IEXPLORE.EXE has multiple processes in Task Manager. This is the problem, I guess. But how can I resolve this?

Avast Antivirus is atualized and doens't detect anything, except the Script Blocking Screen that appears.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this whithout formatting??
