Excess Meta dat fragments?
« on: February 04, 2010, 11:55:07 PM »
Using PD Pro 10 on a fresh install of Vista......despite repeated boot time defrag followed by Smart Placement I always get a min 40 plus excess metadata fragments & 10 plus excess file fragmentaion fragements.......supports says its due to AV & drive I/O activity.........any clues......I thought PD was a great defragger.....seems doesn't do well with Vista.....with XP it fine?

Hoping to hear your views,

Thanks

Why not use the one that comes with Vista ??? It does an excellent job. :)
