Moving from McAfee to Avast
« on: January 31, 2010, 12:05:32 PM »
Hello all
I have avast free version running on laptop on McAfee on desktop.  There seem to be problem with Mcafee and AOL in that it takes 2 - 3 minutes to load the pc.  Would you recommend I run the full version of Avast on both machines?

Thanks

Chrissie

Yes, but don't forget to fully remove McAfee first. Uninstall it the usual way and then follow this guide:

Very smart move, Zena.
This sentence is a bit strange ;D
When we have an antivirus I think if they are protecting well then it is good...but I think avast is better than McAfee and avast can be also trusted :)
